Is the Free plan really free?
Yes. The Free plan is free forever and needs no card. It covers up to 5 students, 1 course with 3 classes, attendance, fees and receipts, the student app, and register print and CSV. Move to a paid plan only when you need more.
Do I or my students need to install anything?
No. AnyKlass works in the web browser on a computer, tablet or phone. Students sign in on their phone's browser with the ID and password on the sign-in slip you give them.
How does QR check-in work?
Every student has an ID card with a QR code in their student app. At the door, the front desk scans it with a phone or laptop camera. The student is marked present and their fees due show at once, so you can collect before class starts.
QR check-in is on Starter and above. On Free, you mark attendance from the class list.
Can I charge some students a different fee?
Yes. Each class has its monthly fee, and you can set a different fee for one student, for a scholarship or a sibling discount. You can bill every month, or only the months a student attends.
Can I run online classes and share notes and videos?
Yes. Add a Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams link to a class day, and share notes, videos and links with the class. Material opens for a student once that month's fee is paid, and you can give a student access for a few days when needed.
How do I pay for a plan?
Paid plans are priced in Sri Lankan rupees and paid by card on the payment service's secure page; we never see your card number. Pay monthly or yearly. When you move up to a bigger plan, you pay only the difference for the days left.
Enterprise plans can be paid by bank transfer.
What happens if a plan payment fails?
You get a grace period to pay, with reminders by email. If the plan stays unpaid, the institute is paused: your data is kept, and the owner can still sign in and renew to open everything again.
Is my institute's data safe?
Each institute's data is kept separate from every other institute, and everything travels over an encrypted HTTPS connection. You decide what teachers and front-desk staff can see and do. Passwords are stored scrambled, so nobody can read them.
